Mr. Steak’s Potato Balls


  • large Idaho potatoes


  1. Start with large Idaho potatoes
  2. With a knife cut the skin off each side so that the potato looks like a rough rectangle with some skin left on
  3. Boil potato whole until soft all the way through
  4. Let sit for at least half an hour
  5. Vertically slice some of the potatoes 1 to 1 ¼ inches thick
  6. Cut the rest vertically at ¾ of an inch to vary the size
  7. Convection bake at 450 degrees until the bottom is crispy
  8. Flip until the other side is crispy
  9. Bake for an hour or less
  10. Sprinkle with kosher salt

Option: finish by spraying on truffle oil with an oil mister


Mr. Steak's AMAZING Hand Cut French Fries


  • Potatoes


  1. Slice raw potatoes into different sizes 

  2. Blanch in deep fat fryer with oil at 375-400 until they are partially cooked and lightly browned

  3. Take out and put on a sheet pan, spread out evenly and cover with a paper towel for at least half an hour.

  4. Put back in 375-400 degree oil five minutes before you serve main course as they will only take around 5-7 minutes to be ready.

parmesan, kosher salt, parsley, and truffle oil are all optional 

Prime Rib


  • Prime Rib
  • Water
  • Mr. Steak seasonings


  1. Remove prime rib from refrigerator at least four hours before cooking to ensure the meat is at room temperature before putting in the oven (commandment #3)

  2. Place roast on a rack sitting in a roasting pan

  3. Put a few cups of water in the bottom of the pan. (Add water as needed during roasting to add to the au jus) 

  4. Season with Mr. Steak seasonings

  5. Put prime rib in the oven at 500 degrees for 10 minutes /15 minutes max depending on the size

  6. Open oven until the oven temperature is reduced to 225 degrees

  7. Close oven and cook at 225 degrees until desired doneness utilizing meat thermometer

  8. Remove from oven and let sit for at least 20 minutes 

Mom’s Caesar Salad


  • garlic
  • red wine vinegar
  • Dijon mustard
  • olive oil
  • lemon
  • Parmesan cheese
  • croutons
  • Worcester sauce
  • egg yolks
  • Romaine lettuce
  • salt
  • pepper


  1. Use a large wooden bowl & wooden utensils if possible
  2. Smash several fresh cloves of garlic with garlic press 
and put them at the bottom of wooden bowl
  3. Combine 2 to 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  4. tablespoon Dijon mustard
  5. 1/2 cup olive oil
  6. 1/2 of a squeezed lemon
  7. A shake of grated Parmesan cheese, more to taste
  8. Smashed croutons to taste
  9. 1/2 teaspoon of Worcester sauce, more to taste
 1-2 egg yolks boiled 45 sec
  10. Smash all of above to make a paste at bottom of bowl
  11. Add lightly chopped and dried Romaine lettuce

  12. Season with salt and pepper

  13. Add more Parmesan cheese to taste

Mix, Mix, Mix

  15. Taste,Taste 

  16. Maybe add more olive oil if you like it wetter 

  17. Add whole croutons

Toss a little more

  19. Serve!

Mrs. Steak's Steak Fried Chicken


  • 4 chicken breasts
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Canola oil
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 2 cups Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 fresh lemon
  • 1 small bottle capers


  1. Wash & dry 4 chicken breasts
  2. Pound Chicken breasts about 1/4 inch thick( I put them in a zip lock bag and pound them)
  3. Salt and Pepper both sides
  4. Heat 1/4 cup Canola oil In a large frying pan medium heat
  5. Get 3 bowls ready of : 2 cups Flour, 4 beaten eggs, and 2 cups Panko bread crumbs

  6. Put each chicken breast first in flour, then egg, then bread crumb bowl. Both sides!
  7. When oil is hot, put chicken breasts in oil about 5 min till golden brown. Turn breasts
  8. and take them out when golden brown. Pat dry with paper towels.
  9. Top them with my special sauce:
  10. In small stovetop pan, melt 1/2 -1 stick butter on low.
  11. When melted, add capers & squeeze 1/2 fresh lemon 🍋
  12. Each person can spoon a little on their chicken breast.
  13. Best chicken ever!
